Patrick Mugadza, the prophet and leader of Kariba Church, that
prophesied that the incumbent president of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe
will die on 17th of October 2017, has been arrested.
According to Zim Eye, the controversial prophet was arrested on
Monday, January 16, outside the Harare Magistrates Court where he had
gone for his routine remand hearing.
Mugadza is being accused of undermining the authority of the
president.
Last week, the prophet said that it was revealed to him by God on
December 26, 2016, while he was praying that 93-year-old Mugabe who
is the oldest president in the world and has ruled for thirty-seven years
would not see the end of 2017.
He however added that the only way the prophecy can be averted is if
the president openly tells the public that he does not want to die.
This is second time it will be predicted that the Zimbabwean president
will die in 2017.
The morbid website, called The DeathList, predicted that 2017 will be
just as bad as last year for celebrity deaths.
The website has named 50 famous faces who it expects to die at some
point over the next 12 months including Mugabe.
