FC Barcelona player Luis Suarez is all anyone is talking about after he scored the first goal of the El Clasico opener! He may be a favorite right now, but here’s some facts you should know about the big shot!

He shoots, he scores! FC Barcelona’s striker Luis Suarez, 29, landed the first goal in the El Clasico opening game against Real Madrid on Dec. 3, and fans are going bananas! 1. Luis played for two other professional teams before joining FC Barcelona.

Although FC Barcelona is his home team now, Luis has jumped around throughout his professional career. In 2007, Luis first signed a five-year contract with Ajax, and made his club debut in a game against Prague! SO cool! Following his contract, Luis was transferred to Liverpool in 2011, where he signed a long term contract. But after a glorious run for the Liverpool team, Luis agreed to sign yet another deal with Barcelona and a pay a small fine for breaking his contract with Liverpool in 2014. And that was probably a great decision, because the team wouldn’t have made that first shot without him!

In particular, he has been accused of racial abuse against Italian club player Patrice Evra after three biting incidents.
