Headies Awards – Lets Meet Headies 2016 Host Adesua Etomi



If you haven’t heard of rising Nollywood Actress, Adesua Etomi, then you need to go back and watch Sheila in the latest series of Shuga.

Tolulope Adesua Etomi [Sunshine] was born in Owerri, Imo State Nigeria to a Soldier father and Civil Engineer mother. The youngest of three children, her hobbies include singing, dancing, playing the guitar and swimming. Adesuwa Etomi is a first class graduate of Drama and Performance from the University of Wolverhampton


Adesua very early quickly learned to express herself through performance and her first encounter with acting was at the age of 7, when she joined the drama club at her primary school, Corona School Victoria Island. She later moved to the United Kingdom at the age of 13.

Adesua Etomi quit her job in the UK for Nollywood and in April 14, 2014, she made her big screen acting debut as a Nigerian actress when she starred in her first feature film, “Knocking On Heaven’s Door” where she landed the lead role in the first movie produced by Emem Isong.

To mention but a few of her Achievements, Adesua Etomi won the Best actress in a drama award at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for her role in Falling, Adesua has been involved in about over 12 Films, 4 TV Series, 16 Theatre Series and still counting


With about 20 Awards and Nominations,  Adesua indeed coordinates the flower with her lipstick! We’re so taken by her because her sense of beauty and style is so effortless and unique in its own way. This year Adesua Etomi added another feather to her cap as she hosts this years edition of The Headies Awards 2016 where she co-hosts Falz
